CE SCANNING POLICY

In accordance with the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) and the Board of Podiatric Medicine (BPM), The Western is required to monitor educational session attendance for continuing education (CE) verification.  Badges MUST be scanned at designated times to receive credits for tracks attended.  Attendees will not receive credit for other than what is designated for each scanning period.  Badges CANNOT be scanned for past or future scanning periods.  Attendees will not receive credit for any missed scanning period(s).

Attendees will be sent certificates reflecting only the number of continuing education contact hours scanned.  To receive the maximum number of CE contact hours, you must be scanned at each of the listed scanning times.  Continuing education verification certificates will be mailed out to meeting attendees by August 28, 2009.  Each registrant is responsible for reporting his or her attendance to all appropriate licensing boards and agencies requiring continuing education.  Retain the original certificate sent to you.  A ten dollar ($10) reprint fee will be charged for replacement certificates.
