About The Western

The Western Foot and Ankle Conference is the annual continuing medical education conference provided by the California Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA) for doctors of podiatric medicine and their assistants.

Held at the Disneyland® Convention Center in Anaheim, California each June, the meeting includes 3.5 days of general sessions for doctors, 3 days of exhibition, and 2 days of front and back office training for assistants.

CPME Approval Statements

General Sessions
California Podiatric Medical Association is accredited by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education as a provider of continuing education in podiatric medicine. California Podiatric Medical Association has approved this activity for a maximum of [TBD] Continuing Education Contact Hours (CECH).

Assistant Program

The Assistant Program is approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Podiatric Medical Assisting Certification (CAPMAC).

Mission Statement

The mission of CPMA’s Western Foot and Ankle Conference is to provide educational opportunities to advance and elevate the level of podiatric care of patients. It is one of the ultimate goals of CPMA’s continuing education activities to provide educational opportunities via conferences and workshops to help expand the knowledge base and technical skills of all involved medical students, residents, educators, providers, and ancillary staff. By doing this, CPMA can ensure the commitment of developing an educational format to benefit all of those in the podiatric medical profession who extend their care into the foot, ankle, and lower leg structures.
