The 2021 Western will be a virtual meeting, live streamed over 3.5 days with pre-meeting exhibition and in-app events beginning June 19.

Western Foot and Ankle Conference attendees have come to expect a high quality, multi-disciplinary program that provides experiences, tools, and practical information useful in their daily practice. The Western also introduces attendees to the new viewpoints and the latest developments in foot and ankle care. Whatever your goal for The 2021 Western, join us and experience for yourself what makes The Western the Best – again and again.

Our Californian registrants can earn all of the necessary radiology CECH for their license requirements while gaining a top-notch education. In addition, you can earn 4 fluoroscopy CECH by attending a special asynchronous course at your convenience for no extra fees.

For the 2021 meeting, we have two exciting new topics. The first being a track dedicated to the pandemic. You will learn how COVID-19 has reshaped health care and how it has changed how we provide care and manage our offices.

We are also excited that for the first time we will have a global presence at The Western. Dr. Andrew Boulton and other internationally renowned experts will discuss their research and experiences on managing the diabetic foot. We are all looking forward to hearing the international perspective on challenging conditions such as the latest developments for managing neuropathy, the increased fall risk in diabetes, Charcot foot and the psychosocial aspects of caring for diabetic foot complications.

In 2021, we continue our tradition of being one of the only conferences to have a distinct biomechanics session that will feature new speakers who will provide practical insight that you can apply to your practice right away. And of course, we will continue to have your favorite sessions on sports medicine, neurology, surgery and trauma.

You won’t want to miss the Friday morning presentation by PICA. Always an intriguing and dynamic presentation, attendance will again provide podiatric physicians their 15% PICA premium renewal discount (registration for The Western is required to attend this session).

The virtual exhibit hall will provide you with an opportunity to meet with companies that have continued to support The Western and the California Podiatric Medical Association despite the challenges they have faced throughout the pandemic. Please visit the virtual exhibit hall and schedule a meeting with our industry partners who can help you change your practice and improve the care of your patients. Remember to let them know how much their presence and their partnership with The Western means to us.

Essentially, there is something for everyone. The Western really is The Best. Come see for yourself. Register today!
